Last Updated: March 30, 2026

Welcome to CanvasLink! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the CanvasLink website located at https://canvaslink.app/ and all related hosting services, software, and features (collectively, the "Service").

The Service is owned and operated by TANGENT TECH LLP, a company registered in Singapore ("Company", "we", "us", or "our").

By registering an account, uploading code, or otherwise accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Service.

1. Description of Service

CanvasLink is a platform that allows users to turn AI-generated ideas into shareable web pages. Users can paste or upload HTML, CSS, and JavaScript code (generated by Large Language Models like Gemini or ChatGPT or otherwise), and receive a secure, hosted link to share their creations. The Service offers both free and paid tiers, which may include features such as shareable QR codes, audience insights, custom domains, and creator profiles.

2. Eligibility and Account Registration

Account Creation: You may create an account using your email address or via third-party authentication services (e.g., Google Sign-In). You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information.

Account Security: You are strictly responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect any unauthorized access.

Legal Capacity: While we do not impose a strict minimum age requirement to use the platform, by using the Service, you represent that you have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract in your jurisdiction. If you are a minor, you must have the consent of your parent or legal guardian to use the Service.

3. User-Generated Content and Code Hosting

Ownership: You retain all ownership rights to the code, files, text, and other materials you upload or paste into CanvasLink ("User Content").

License to Host: By uploading User Content to CanvasLink, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to host, copy, transmit, display, and distribute your User Content strictly for the purpose of operating and providing the Service (i.e., making your web page accessible via the internet).

AI-Generated Code: You acknowledge that code generated by AI tools may contain errors, vulnerabilities, or unintentional copyright infringement. You are solely responsible for testing and reviewing the code you host on CanvasLink. We are not liable for any damages resulting from the execution of the code you host.

4. Zero-Tolerance Acceptable Use Policy (Anti-Abuse)

As a web hosting provider, CanvasLink strictly prohibits the use of our infrastructure for malicious, illegal, or harmful activities. We have a zero-tolerance policy for abuse.

You agree NOT to use the Service to host, transmit, or link to any User Content that:

  • Is Fraudulent or Deceptive (Scams/Phishing): Fake login pages, credential harvesting, financial scams, impersonation of other brands, or any form of phishing.
  • Contains Malware or Destructive Code: Viruses, trojans, worms, ransomware, crypto-miners, or scripts designed to interfere with or disrupt any user, host, or network.
  • Contains Adult Content or Pornography: Sexually explicit materials, obscenity, or child sexual abuse material (CSAM).
  • Is Illegal or Promotes Illegal Acts: Content that violates any local, national, or international law, including the laws of Singapore.
  • Infringes on Intellectual Property: Content that violates the copyright, trademark, or trade secret rights of others.
  • Is Abusive or Harmful: Hate speech, harassment, doxxing, or threats of violence.

Enforcement and Cooperation with Authorities:

  • We reserve the right to actively monitor hosted pages for violations of this policy.
  • Immediate Takedown: We reserve the right to immediately remove, disable access to, or delete any User Content, and to suspend or terminate your account without notice or liability if we suspect a violation of these Terms.
  • Law Enforcement: We will report illegal activities (including phishing, scams, and CSAM) to the relevant authorities, including the Singapore Police Force, international law enforcement agencies, and relevant cyber-security organizations. We will fully cooperate with authorities, which includes preserving and disclosing your account information, IP addresses, and uploaded content as required by law.

5. Paid Subscriptions

CanvasLink offers a paid tier unlocking features such as Custom Links, Audience Insights, and QR Codes.

Billing: By selecting a paid tier, you agree to pay the fees specified at the time of purchase. Subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis (e.g., monthly or annually) depending on the plan you select.

Automatic Renewal: Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle unless you cancel it before the renewal date.

Cancellation and Refunds: You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing cycle. Except as required by law, all subscription fees are non-refundable.

6. Custom Domains

If you utilize CanvasLink to connect a custom domain (e.g., yourbrand.com), you represent that you own or have the right to use that domain name. We reserve the right to disable custom domain routing if the domain is used in violation of our Acceptable Use Policy or infringes on the trademark of a third party.

7. Intellectual Property Rights (CanvasLink IP)

The Service, including its original source code, platform architecture, design, and branding (excluding User Content), is the exclusive property of TANGENT TECH LLP and its licensors. You may not duplicate, copy, or reuse any portion of the HTML/CSS, Javascript, or visual design elements of the CanvasLink application itself without our express written permission.
