This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit our website, https://canvaslink.app/, and use our hosting services and software platform (collectively, the "Service").
This Privacy Policy complies with the Singapore Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) and outlines your rights regarding your personal data. By accessing or using the Service, you consent to the data practices described in this policy.
1. Information We Collect
We collect several types of information from and about users of our Service:
A. Information You Provide Directly to Us
Account Information: When you register for an account, we collect your email address and password. If you choose to register via a third-party service (e.g., Google Sign-In), we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from that provider.

User-Generated Content: We collect and store the HTML, CSS, JavaScript code, and assets you upload or paste into the platform to host your web pages.
Billing Information: If you subscribe to our paid services, our third-party payment processors collect your payment details (e.g., credit card information). We do not store your full credit card number on our servers.
Support Data: If you contact us at [email protected], we collect your email address, message contents, and any other information you provide.
B. Information Collected Automatically
When you access the Service or when end-users visit the web pages you host through CanvasLink, our infrastructure automatically collects certain technical data:
Log and Usage Data: IP addresses, browser types, operating systems, referring URLs, device information, and timestamps of visits.

2. How We Use Your Information
We use the collected information for the following purposes:
- To Provide and Maintain the Service: Creating your account, authenticating your logins, and hosting your code.
- To Process Payments: Managing subscriptions, billing, and order fulfillment for CanvasLink Pro.
- To Improve the Service: Analyzing usage trends to optimize our platform's performance and develop new features.
- To Communicate With You: Sending you administrative emails, technical notices, security alerts, and responses to your support inquiries.

3. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We only share your data under the following circumstances:
A. With Essential Service Providers (Data Intermediaries)
We rely on trusted third-party services to operate CanvasLink. These providers only process your data on our behalf and are strictly governed by their own data processing agreements:

- Payment Processors: We share necessary billing information with secure payment gateways (e.g., Stripe) to process Pro tier subscriptions.
B. For Legal and Safety Reasons
As stated in our Terms of Service, we have a zero-tolerance policy for abuse. We will disclose your personal data, IP addresses, and uploaded content:

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to track activity on our Service and hold certain information.
- Essential Cookies: Necessary to authenticate users and prevent fraudulent use of user accounts.
- Analytical Cookies: Used to track information on how the Service is used so we can make improvements.
You can instruct your browser to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being sent. However, if you do not accept essential cookies, you may not be able to log into or use some parts of our Service.
